Dear Sponsor.
The West London Neuroscience Unit is delighted
to have been asked to host the Association of British Neurologists
Autumn meeting in November 2007. We are particularly honoured to
coordinate this important meeting which combines, what will be the
second of the two 75th anniversary meetings and a joint meeting
with the Norwegian Neurological Society We have selected the Queen
Elizabeth II Conference Centre, just opposite to Westminster Abbey,
for what we intend to be an extremely important and vibrant meeting.
We very much hope these factors will tempt the ABN membership to
attend in force!
For those members of industry who have kindly
sponsored ABN events in the past or for those of you who have never
been to an ABN meeting at all, we hope you will see that there are
plenty of reasons to support to this keynote meeting. The following
points we feel deserve special mention.
• The meeting will be hosted on the 3rd
floor of the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, which has a commanding
atrium overlooking Westminster Abbey. This area will have ample
space for industry stands at the very heart of this important congress.
There will be access to local hotels and facilities including a
reception at the House of Lords.
Two lecture theatres have been reserved with additional meetings
facilities.
• A diverse exciting educational and scientific
programme will provide ample opportunity for interaction with neurologists
and patient’s with neurological disease. Most importantly
on the first day of the congress will see joint meetings between
the ABN and patient organisations. The anniversary educational symposium
will include a series of keynote talks documenting the major advances
in different neurological disorders over 75 years. A number of additional
opportunities with regard specific educational symposium are being
developed.
My colleagues or myself will be more than happy
to meet with you in order to discuss the plans for this meeting,
particularly if anybody has any novel ideas about special ways to
celebrate this special occasion.

Yours sincerely
