Towell   Ruth Towell - Senior Research Dietitian
Ruth qualified as a registered dietitian with a degree in nutrition from University of Surrey in 1993. Her specialist dietetic interests are adult critical care and paediatric allergy. In 2002 she completed an MSc in teaching and learning whilst leading on practice development within a critical care unit at St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey. Her next job as a paediatric dietitian at St Mary's Hospital in London led her into this research post working in paediatric allergy and specifically peanut allergy.

de Boer  

Rachel de Boer - Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian.
Rachel graduated from The University of Birmingham in 1999 with an honours degree in Medical Biochemistry. She studied Dietetics at Leeds Metropolitan University, and qualified as a Dietitian in 2002. Since qualifying, she has worked for three London teaching hospitals, and has covered a number of specialities including; ICU, HIV, Gastroenterology, Renal and Paediatrics. She is currently employed as a Specialist Dietitian for the Children's Allergy Service at the Evelina Children's Hospital.
She has published articles in peer magazines and is undertaking the Southampton Allergy masters. She has a special interest in milk allergy and is in the process of conducting an audit in this area.

Hasita Prinja - Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian.
Hasita has been part of the Paediatric Dietetic Service for 17 years and has been working in the speciality of Paediatric Allergy since 1995.

Meyer  

Rosan Meyer - Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian.
Rosan completed her degree in Dietetics (1995) as well as Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (1996) in South Africa. She specialised in paediatric nutrition in the United Kingdom, focusing on nutritional support, feeding behaviour and allergy. She started working at St.Mary's Hospital in 1998. Since then she has been working with the allergy team in managing children with allergies. In 2004 she went on to finish her Masters in Paediatric Nutrition, focusing on paediatric gastroenterology, allergies, nutritional assessment and feeding support. She has just completed her PhD in energy expenditure in critically ill children at Imperial College London and has a practice with a specialist focus in childhood allergies and feeding difficulties.


Laura Phillips   Laura Phillips – Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian
Laura graduated from The University of Surrey in 2003 as a registered dietitian. She initially worked at Barts and the London NHS Trust and then moved to St Mary’s Hospital two years ago as the lead in dietetics for paediatric allergy. Research interests are in weaning the atopic infant.
